What it is

Menteebot is the humanoid developed by Israel's Mentee Robotics, founded in 2022 by Amnon Shashua, Shai Shalev-Shwartz and Lior Wolf. The third-generation Menteebot V3 is a 175 cm, 70 kg biped with 40 degrees of freedom, a 25 kg payload and a 1.5 m/s walking speed, built around camera-only sensing, in-house actuators and backdrivable hands. Mobileye agreed in January 2026 to acquire Mentee for about $900 million, with first customer proof-of-concept deployments expected in 2026 and series production targeted for 2028.
