The Genie G2 is AgiBot's next-generation industrial-grade interactive embodied work robot, launched on October 16, 2025. It is a comprehensive upgrade of the Genie G1 (released in November 2023 and the best-selling wheeled humanoid robot).
The G2 weighs 185 kg and has 26 active degrees of freedom across its body (7 per arm, 5 in the legs and waist). Its 3 waist DOF allow near-human bending, waist rotation and lateral sway. It carries the world's first cross-wrist force-controlled arm and 19-DOF dexterous hands; combined with a 3D tactile perception system, it can perform millimeter-level precision operations such as inserting memory modules. Based on real-robot reinforcement learning, a new task takes only 1 hour to learn.
For endurance, it supports autonomous docking and dual-battery hot swapping to keep pace with 24-hour production lines. It has won an order worth hundreds of millions of yuan from Longcheer Technology and a procurement partnership of over 100 million yuan with Joyson Electronics, and has been deployed on real production lines, including automotive seatbelt lock-core manufacturing, with general-purpose capability across industrial, logistics, guidance and other scenarios.
