The Pioneer K2 is Kepler Robotics' fifth-generation full-size general-purpose humanoid robot, first unveiled at GITEX GLOBAL 2024 in Dubai on October 14, 2024, with its official global launch on October 17. It stands 175 cm tall, weighs 83 kg, and has 52 degrees of freedom across its body (two more than the previous generation, adding head yaw/pitch). It handles a 15 kg payload per arm (30 kg with both arms), has 96-contact flexible sensors integrated into its fingertips, and uses an all-new star-shaped wiring layout. A 2.33 kWh battery supports 8 hours of runtime and recharges in about 1 hour, with 100 TOPS of onboard compute; autonomous operation is enabled by a cloud foundation-model "brain" combined with an embodied "cerebellum". At launch, it had already entered real-world testing with leading customers in intelligent manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, special operations, and research and education.
